地域の日本語教室で日本語を学ぶ人々との出会いから始まり、日本語学校・国内大学・海外大学などで日本語教育に関わり現在に至ります。現職でも留学生対象の日本語科目や留学生教育に携わっており、日本語教育学の視点から日本語学習者の学びと成長を研究しています。
